Greetings from the United Kingdom!

Hello!

I'm Nikki, a native English speaker living in central England with my husband and our pet cat. I've lived in Britain most of my life, although I love travelling abroad whenever possible.

I'm a fully qualified Level 5 TEFL tutor and an accredited IELTS coach, and I have an honours degree in French and Spanish.

In 1992, I qualified as a Registered Nurse, and later became a Colorectal Specialist Nurse, supporting patients diagnosed with bowel cancer. I've worked across various different Healthcare settings, including the renowned Nicky Snazell Wellness & Physiotherapy Clinic.

I now run my own business, mostly coaching Healthcare professionals online, to speak English more naturally, with greater clarity and confidence – teaching them how to communicate more effectively, wherever they are in the world. I get to combine my nursing experience with my passion for teaching English, offering people an opportunity to help them further their dreams and careers in English-speaking countries. This is incredibly rewarding.

I also teach part-time for a local College of Further Education in my role as an International English Tutor; I enjoy teaching 'Core English' and 'English for Healthcare' in the Winter and Summer programmes – to students from East Asia, both online and in the classroom.

My 10-week tailor-made English for Healthcare programmes address specific language needs of Nurses, Doctors, and other Healthcare professionals; please contact me with your requirements, and to request more details on content and price.

For those preparing for their IELTS or OET speaking test, job interviews or presentations, my one-to-one online sessions can be booked individually: See "Book Online".

So, why are you here?

Most people approach me because they feel that their spoken English is holding them back in some way.

Usually, it's because they feel their English is preventing them from performing well in the workplace, which affects their sense of job satisfaction; or, their English is holding them back from furthering their career.

Perhaps you need to engage better with your patients or speak to your colleagues with greater assurance.

Perhaps you want to apply for a new job and need to attend an interview, or you must pass an exam in English to qualify for a promotion or to take advantage of a new opportunity.

Or, you might already be moving to an English-speaking country to work, but you want to handle conversations more confidently with co-workers and patients/clients.

Whatever your particular concerns, my passion is all about helping people reach their personal English-speaking goals, so that they can take a step closer to fulfilling their dreams, and enjoy greater job satisfaction.

So if you're motivated and ready... I'd be delighted to help you achieve better spoken English and keener listening skills, so that you can become a more effective communicator.
